This morning it was a little gray when we woke up, so we decided to keep some of sight seeing for another day. It was so cloudy out we walked to a cafe down the street and got some croissants, apple pastries, orange juice, and espresso to go and we had a little bed picnic. After we got out into town we decided to give my jacket another chance, and headed back to the Paris wide lost and found. No luck, but atleast we have done all we can. Afterwards we went poking around most of the great shopping, and peeking into a few designers well out of our price range. Always fun to glance at the price tags and just walk through the beautiful stores. As it got later in the day we thought it might be fun to visit Les Deux Magots cafe across the street from the St.Germaine church. Not only is the cafe beautiful, and full of delicious (but expeeeeeensive) food but it was a favorite cafe of Hemingway, Vangogh, and Sartre. Erin had a wonderful espresso and I wanted to have one of the drinks popular for some of those classic artists, Absinthe! Unfortunately it wasnt one of the brands with the typical green color, but it was delicious, and i did get to melt my sugar cube! We paid our bill and headed across the street to visit St.Germaine. It is small compared to some of the other chruches here, but it had many stunning paintings, and amazing stained glass. Then we headed in the direction of our hotel and stopped to grab some AMAZING paninis, and a chocolate tarte, and raspberry cake for dinner rushed up to our room to eat on our balcony once again. Museums tomorrow! And a new hotel!
